Um Studierenden einen direkten Einstieg in digitale interdisziplinäre Kollaboration mit 3D-Modellen zu ermöglichen, hat die Forschungsgruppe digiLEARNbim – eine Kooperation der TU Darmstadt, der FH Erfurt und des Leibniz-Instituts für Wissensmedien in Tübingen – ein didaktisches Konzept erarbeitet, das die praktische Anwendung und das Erzeugen und Nutzen von 3D-Modellen mit einem Minimum an Vorwissen an den Beginn von Lehrveranstaltungen stellt. Ziel ist es, Studierenden in kürzester Zeit und spielerisch zu befähigen, kreativ und kollaborativ mit 3D-Modellen zu arbeiten und die Ergebnisse per Virtual-Reality-Führung vorzustellen.
Das Video gibt Einblick in eine solche Auftaktveranstaltung und die von den Studierenden erarbeiteten Ergebnisse – es zeigt die Umsetzung der Vision anwendungsorientierter praktischer Nutzung neuer digitaler Möglichkeiten der interdisziplinären Zusammenarbeit auf der Grundlage von 3D-Modellen.
Das Projekt wurde im Rahmen des Förderprojektes “Studentische E-Learning Experten – Unterstützungsprogramm zur Umsetzung Digitaler Lehre” im WS 21/22 an der TU Darmstadt unterstützt. Dieses wiederum ist Teil des hessenweiten Projekts HessenHub – Netzwerk digitale Hochschullehre.
To give students a direct introduction to digital interdisciplinary collaboration with 3D models, the digiLEARNbim research group – a cooperation of the TU Darmstadt, the University of Applied Sciences Erfurt and the Leibniz Institute for Knowledge Media in Tübingen – has developed a didactic concept that places the practical application and the creation and use of 3D models with a minimum of prior knowledge at the beginning of courses. The aim is to enable students to work creatively and collaboratively with 3D models in the shortest possible time and in a playful way, and to present the results via a virtual reality tour.
The video provides an insight into such a kick-off event and the results produced by the students – it shows the implementation of the vision of application-oriented practical use of new digital possibilities of interdisciplinary collaboration based on 3D models.
The project was supported as part of the funding project “Students support digital teaching – Support Programme for the Implementation of Digital Teaching” in WS 21/22 at the TU Darmstadt. This in turn is part of the Hesse-wide project HessenHub – Network for Digital University Teaching.
