Im Fachbereich Physik der TU Darmstadt wurde mit Unterstützung der E-Learning Arbeitsgruppe ein digitales Lernspiel für Schülerinnen und Schüler entwickelt: PhysicsLife. Es handelt sich hierbei um ein Serious Game, das mit Hilfe von 360°-Technologie umgesetzt wurde.
In the Department of Physics at the TU Darmstadt, a digital learning game for pupils was developed with the support of the E-Learning group: PhysicsLife. It is a serious game that was implemented with the help of 360° technology.
Viele haben das Stereotyp, dass Physiker*innen den ganzen Tag allein im Labor experimentieren, aber das ist nicht die Realität. In diesem Spiel lernen die Schüler*innen den Forschungsalltag im Fachbereich Physik kennen.
Many people have the stereotype that physicists spend all day alone in the lab doing experiments, but that is not the reality. In this game, the pupils learn about the daily routine of research in the physics department.
In dem Video zeigen Prof. Verena Spatz, Moritz Kriegel und Benedikt Weiss den Entwicklungsprozess dieses Spiels, indem sie mit einer 360-Kamera echte Räume und echte Personen dokumentiert und verschieden Aufgaben eingebaut haben, so dass die Schüler*innen einen Eindruck von authentischen Arbeitsbedingungen von Physiker*innen erhalten.
In the video, Prof. Verena Spatz, Moritz Kriegel and Benedikt Weiss show the development process of this game by documenting real rooms and real people with a 360 camera and incorporating various tasks so that the pupils get an impression of authentic working conditions of physicists.
